Chloe's Mary Quant style mini dress

For her homework this term Chloe was asked to produce a project relating to the decades, so she chose to research fashion in the 1960's and went on to make, with my guidance, but on her own, a Mary Quant style mini dress, of which she is rightfully very proud....

Red Alert

I've made a few tops in this style for Chloe, as she lives and dies in them, but this one has become a particular favourite.

Two Hoots

I've always thought these Owl's looked so cute, and I've really enjoyed making them both - one for Chloe and one for a birthday present for a friend.

New Year - new bag

Having had a new school bag for Christmas Chloe asked me if she could have a new PE bag, as her present El Porto bag is much bigger than she needs for PE but ideal for swimming. Chloe has had her eye on this cute dog fabric for months, so it seemed the obvious choice....

The top was fiddly with all the frills, but is otherwise a simple top pattern and the skirt is my own adaptation on the Farbenmix Noelle pattern, which is now too small for Chloe, with sequins hand stitched all around the hem for a festive feel.

Christmas Decorations

No, I didn't make the top - it was a sale bargain, but I enjoyed decorating it with a festive design!

Autumn Basics

To go under jumpers, glittery cardigans etc I really like cowl neck tops, so I've made two for myself this autumn, one beige and one cream.
