Sew Some Stripes For Sport Relief

It's not what you would normally think of when thinking about Sports Relief is it? As Chloe was going to spend all day in sports clothing, and needed a change of clothes for after she had run her Sports Relief mile, she needed a new sweatshirt type top to keep out any chilly March breezes. Of course I didn't have a pattern that corresponded with Chloe's wishes, so I put my own together and came up with.......





New Season New Style

For me at least...although it's Chloe favourite, adapted from the 170cm size of the Double Dots pattern from Ottobre Design Spring 2010.

Perfect Purple

For a long time now Chloe has had a pair of purple jeans and a purple denim skirt that she's had nothing to wear with and finding the right shade of purple has been hard, until recently I saw this fabric and thought I might be lucky. I was, and purple is now back in vogue!



Stripes of Spring

Well on Sunday it looked like spring had arrived here, but just for one day though! In the hope of a few more to come I've made a jersey dress for Chloe...

For her homework this term Chloe was asked to produce a project relating to the decades, so she chose to research fashion in the 1960's and went on to make, with my guidance, but on her own, a Mary Quant style mini dress, of which she is rightfully very proud....
