Growing Girl

I made this top last year from a lovely Liberty lawn, and I was delighted to find that it still fitted this year, only it was a little short. 15cm of leftover fabric and a metre or so of ribbon later the top has grown enough to keep pace with Chloe, well, I hope for this summer at least!!!

Denim with a difference

Chloe and I saw this printed, slightly stretchy denim in France this Easter and Chloe loved it. So I've turned it into a slightly different denim jacket....

Ready for Chloe's residential trip in a weeks time, I've made her a bright new fleece!

Feather Frenzy

Another top for me, this time in a lovely feather patterned cotton jersey with orange accents.

Modern Duo

I found this fun jersey at the Sewing for Pleasure exhibition at the NEC last month and bought enough for two tops as I thought Chloe might also like it. Fortunately she likes everything I bought, so plenty more projects are in the pipeline...

Sew Some Stripes For Sport Relief

It's not what you would normally think of when thinking about Sports Relief is it? As Chloe was going to spend all day in sports clothing, and needed a change of clothes for after she had run her Sports Relief mile, she needed a new sweatshirt type top to keep out any chilly March breezes. Of course I didn't have a pattern that corresponded with Chloe's wishes, so I put my own together and came up with.......

New Season New Style

For me at least...although it's Chloe favourite, adapted from the 170cm size of the Double Dots pattern from Ottobre Design Spring 2010.
