Exotique

...Is the lovely name of these trousers, made with a french pattern from Her Little World, which has only just been published. I've combimed them with a Tini tunic from Farbenmix and I'm pleased to say Chloe loves her outfit and begged to wear it as soon as she came home from school. Needless to say I didn't have any trouble getting her to pose for photos!

Spring Stripes

....to liven up the very un-spring like weather!!!! I made Chloe a top in this cotton jersey a while ago and really liked the fabric, it's really thick and feels lovely and soft, so I bought some for me on my last trip to London...

El Porto

....is the name of this lovely duffle bag. It's been fun (and very time consuming) to make but well worth the effort as Chloe was jumping for joy this morning when she saw her new sports bag.

The shorts that longed to grow up!

I've made the shorts a couple of times and will no doubt soon make another pair as Chloe finds them very comfortable. As however, it's more trousers weather at the moment I decided to have a go at altering the pattern. I'm very pleased with the result and more importantly, so is Chloe.....

Thank You

..... to a very special friend for giving me this lovely fabric, which I've used to make myself a long sleeved tee shirt by combining two Ottobre women's patterns.

To go with all the dots.....some stripes!

For me this time!

Dotty about purple

Since Chloe has both some purple shoes and a purple cardigan an outfit to match was called for.
The skirt is made from the Lisann pattern by Farbenmix and the blouse is a combination of two patterns from one of my Japanese sewing books, translated into french as Style Petite Fille.
