Purple Trio

In preparation for warmer days to come I've been busy making some cotton jodhpur style trousers from one of my Japanese sewing books (translated into french as Jolies Tenues pour Fillette Coquette) and a summer cotton top (from another Japanese book, again in french called Mademoiselle). To complete the trio of purple I made the Dots T Shirt from one of my Ottobre Design magazines in a soft viscose jersey. The long sleeve top and the trousers both took quite some attention to detail to get a nice finish but having seen Chloe in the top today I think well worth the effort.  I think however if the wet snow we had today is anything to go by it will be a while before she is wearing the sleeveless top and trousers, I just hope they look as nice too!
